We are very proud of our heritage as a former British Rail Staff Association (BRSA) club for use of the 4,000 workers employed in the workshops and foundries in Horwich. RMI is an acronym for Railway Mechanics Institute.  As can be seen, our suites reflect our history where their names are associated with railway engineers, with exception of the Pennine which is named after the West Pennine Mountains, which provide a majestic background behind the club.

To the rear of Horwich RMI is a full sized cricket pitch with its own cricket pavilion that will host 80 people.

There is an excellent full size bowling green that is of the standard to host Lancashire County bowing tournaments. It has its own Bowling Pavilion with a bar and catering facilities.
